Bodha & Gilda

Pomellato’s aim with the Pomellato 67 collection was to bring the brand’s iconic pieces to light, making them contemporary and sensual by choosing silver because of its almost lunar light. We wanted to follow this inspiration by photographing them resting on white marble, a material that is hard but also malleable in experienced hands. The sculpture and the jewellery. The stone and the metal. With the light, we emphasised the intensity of the material, playing on contrasts and similarities, visually translating the concept of delicate strength. The subjects are simultaneously sensual and scratching, the stone is cracked but remains soft.
