Bodha & Gilda

We wanted to create an atmosphere of tension to emphasise the subject, almost as if we were on the movie set for a thriller. The idea was to freeze the moment in a transient flow. Anything could happen at any moment, or might just have happened.  We translated this temporal passage into visual narrative featuring a door left ajar, the light visible from beyond it filtering through.  The surfaces are formally real, but materially distant: the bottom is soft as a counterpoint to the light. There are no elements of distraction.
