Bodha & Gilda

Pomellato pays tribute to the city of Milan with a jewellery collection. The challenge for us was to tell the story of these precious items by enhancing the excitement of the extreme clean lines and austere forms that characterise the city. Through the conscious use of light, we recreated the magical atmosphere enjoyed by walking through the streets of Milan :  a strong light that meets the jewellery and produces soft shadows, enhancing its value. Milan is a place that offers itself up to the attentive observer with the extraordinary nature of its details, and this approach was adopted in dealing with the collection photographically. Creating images in which the overall vision invites the viewer to discovery, and observation of the details leads to an encounter with wonder.
